Introducing an entirely new Prospex watch collection, inspired by Seikos professional timekeeping heritage.
This timepiece is inspired by the flowing lines of the 1969 worlds first automatic chronograph watch.
The latest version is conveniently solar-powered; the watch charges from both natural and electric light with no need for a battery replacement.
Becoming official timekeeper for Tokyos high profile international sports event in 1964 was a turning point in Seikos history. Making precisely accurate professional timing instruments, with no prior experience, resulted in the Seiko Watch Corporation design code of visibility, legibility and functionality.
Recently, I purchased Seikos Prospex Speedtimer Solar Self-Quartz SSC813P1, a model that combines modernity with traditional design ideas borrowed from the racing world. This solar chronograph has revolutionized timekeeping by getting rid of the need to change batteries frequently. Shaped like the 1968s famous round white dial, it is backed up with an enduring mineral glass. This watch offers features such as 10 bar water resistance, date and tachymeter that make it ideal for car race fans and people who are interested in style. Such traits of SSC813P1 show how dedicated Seiko is to performance and style.
I recently acquired a Seiko chronograph watch that has quickly become my daily go-to timepiece. Housed in a 41mm stainless steel case with curved sapphire crystal protecting the crisp white dial, it exudes a timeless elegance. The three sub-dials for running seconds, 30-minute and 60-second chronograph measurements are cleanly laid out and practical, while the tachymeter scale and date window expand its functionality. Despite its sophistication, the 100m water resistance rating means I can wear it without worry. Sweeping quartz movement, chronograph pushers, and stainless bracelet aside, the watch garners attention for its refined yet versatile styling. This handsome Seiko chrono offers exceptional quality that punches far above its weight.
I am a huge fan of vintage styled watches and this Seiko Prospex Speedtimer is fantastic. The 69 design gives it a real retro racing chronograph look. The solar charging means I don't have to worry about changing batteries. The pushers and subdials work smoothly. It's a good size for my wrist. I can wear it with both casual and formal attire. It always gets noticed and compliments. One of my favorite watches now! If you like the look of vintage racers but want something brand new, look no further than this Seiko Speedtimer. The crisp white subdials and tachymeter scale on the dark blue dial look fantastic together.
I have had a few luxury watches as I am a wristwatch hoarder, and I have bought a watch from Seiko as well. However, this time I was looking for a watch for my friend’s wedding gift. Seiko was the first brand that I could think of as it’s a great blend of premium quality and looks. It became the best gift for my friend. He likes this trendy and technologically advanced watch so much that he wears it every day to work.
This is a watch that takes you back in time with its vintage design. What impressed me the most was the solar-powered movement. The watch carries a sense of history and adventure, making it perfect for those who appreciate both style and reliability. For all these features, the price is justifiable. It's a true gem in the world of wristwatches.
