Reigning Supreme Since 1961

King Seiko was the wristwear equivalent of 60s Japanese fashion.

It came with unmatched precision and offered a powerful, commanding and bold design that symbolised the high quality of its construction. After more than half a century, the King Seiko collection is back with timepieces that showcase the lasting quality of Seiko’s mechanical watchmaking prowess.

An Ode to Magnificence

The case is designed so that, combined with the box-shaped sapphire crystal, it gives each watch a slim and elegant feel. An anti-reflective coating on the inner surface of the crystal delivers high legibility from any angle. Powered by Caliber 6R31, the watch delivers a power reserve of 70 hours and is water resistant to 100 meters.

A Testament to Precision

The bold, faceted lugs have sharp angles and wide flat surfaces that feature both mirror and hairline finishings, creating a sense of precision. The twelve o’clock index is more than twice the width of the others and has a patterned texture specially crafted to ensure high legibility and to give the dial a bright sparkle that invites the eye.

Fashioned for Sophistication

The bracelet pays homage to the design of the original King Seiko series, and its many bevelled surfaces reflect light in a way that is dynamic and ever-changing. King Seiko offers five different types of exclusive straps.

A Symbol of Power

The crown and case back bear the new King Seiko emblem, whose design was inspired by that of the 1965 KSK.

Caliber 8L45

A new mechanical movement engineered for precision and elegance.

Caliber 8L45 is distinguished by its exceptional accuracy and a long power reserve of approximately 72 hours when fully wound. A thinner, longer mainspring provides this movement’s extended power reserve. With a precision of +10 to -5 seconds per day, it is the most accurate movement to appear in a Seiko mechanical watch and was engineered to have the robustness and other qualities demanded of movements that power modern-day mechanical sports watches. A wave motif, reflecting the refined skills of master artisans, has been applied to the rotor and bridges. This movement brings a new brilliance to the essence of time.

Caliber 6L35

Caliber 6L35 is the thinnest automatic mechanical movement in the current Seiko lineup.

Calibers 6R55 / 6R51

Seiko’s 6R mechanical movements with automatic winding feature a power reserve of approximately three days.
