This colour reflects traditions passed on from ancient Edo to modern-day Tokyo and the spirit of creativity that has kept Japan’s largest city evolving into the present day.
This digital quartz creation harmoniously blends refinement with a bold presence on the wrist. The watch combines a black case and bracelet with a purple aluminium bezel, expressing a distinctive sense of understated elegance and strength synonymous with Edo, the ancient name of Tokyo. Gold-tone accents elevate the design through their subtle brilliance.
The watch is based on a classic 1982 digital watch design, the Rotocall, which featured a rotary switch that revolutionised how users changed modes with a simple turn of the bezel. This unique design, combined with its popularity among astronauts, contributed to the model’s strong international recognition.
