This watch shape is nicknamed by Seiko fans as a turtle its silhouette, side view and watch case back resemble a turtle with its curved comfortable shell. To divers, sea turtles are symbols of good fortune.
This design is a modern interpretation of the original 1968 Turtle, featuring a reinforced silicone strap with a rail pattern taken from the design of the original Turtle, while the date windows position gives legibility without interfering with the indexes.
Prospex is a combination of the words Professional and Specifications. Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Since launching Japans first divers watch in 1965, Seikos innovative watchmaking has changed global dive watch standards.
Nice tool(everyday) watch.. a few bumps on the door frame with this watch but still nothing happened…. Strap is of very good quality.. dial is very beautiful… although the seiko online customer service is not as expected … better to buy watch physically…
I have used the watch for almost a month… the watch is light and good …considering the AR coating the dial will surely mesmerise you.. u would want to look at the words printed on the dial again and again as they look stunning…. The date window placing is perfect for me…the bezel gives a nice tactile feedback.., i switch this with my Yema watch… you can buy this as a daily usage watch too… but please don’tbuy it online , the customer support is cold or rather lukewarm at its best … just to get it shipped it to 6days then 4-5 days for shipping…hence one star reduced is for the customer support not the watch…
