Seiko 5 Sports Field Collection - SRPG39K1

I picked this model SRPG39K1 as I loved the way the gilt style applied numerals and markers pop out at certain angles especially against the blue dial. The case finish is quite unique with a distressed look that looks great on a field watch. Over time and usage, scuffs and scratches will look natural on this finish. This finish continues on the bracelet of the strap which is good attention to detail. The two-stich leather strap adds a bit of vintage charm. Lumibrite on the hands are fantastic, they could be better on the hour markers, but I am not too bothered about that. The movement is a proven workhorse and needs no further comment. If anything could improve, is that Seiko provide a metal bracelet in a finish similar to the watch case for this model. I picked it up directly from the Seiko India website and it was packaged very well. The physical warranty card was missing in the box, but you can register it online and receive your warranty certificate via email quite promptly. Overall, extremely satisfied!

Classic field watch for daily use.

The watch is good, but I want to get a matching bracelet. So far, I am unable to find one with the same finish as the case. Can you help me with that?

Good looking watch

Seiko 5 sports watch is an excellent piece of design & style. Loved it the moment I saw it. ‘Simple and classic’, impressed by the craftsmanship; textured dial, excited to know about the 28,800 variant of movement that is mechanical and delivers accuracy. The best part is, it looks good on my wrist.
